Smart Sensing Systems: Towards Safe Navigation
TOPICS
The navigation system plays an essential role in robots, as it determines “where it is” and plans “where to go”. Thus, the navigation
system on robots must be sufficiently robust to prevent the vehicle from sensor failure. In this workshop, several topics focusing on 
smart sensing and perception will be discussed, aiming at secure navigation in human-robot interaction. The workshop starts with the 
security issue in robot navigation, followed by several solutions from different perspectives:
